The Systematic Land Registration Reform Has Entered Its Final Phase

Representatives of the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) under the Ministry of Justice are holding active meetings with local municipal representatives across Georgia.

A working meeting was held in the regions of Guria and Adjara, where Davit Devidze, NAPR’s Chairperson, Nikoloz Aznaurashvili, First Deputy Chairman, and NAPR’s representatives discussed the progress, outcomes, and upcoming activities of the reform.

he meetings in the Guria region were attended by the State Representative Giorgi Gurjumelidze, heads of local self-governments, and members of the Adjara Government Administration.

In the regions of Guria and Adjara, the fieldwork of the systematic land registration reform is in its final phase. Villages within administrative units are being gradually and fully measured.

Until the completion of the reform, agency representatives will continue conducting working meetings in different regions and maintaining active communication with local municipalities.

Since 2022, more than 1,800,000 land plots have been surveyed, and ownership rights have been registered for more than 1,300,000 land plots.

According to the government’s decision, the systematic land registration reform will continue until the end of 2025.

Citizens who were unable to participate in the reform in a timely manner have the opportunity to submit a land measurement request at Public Service Halls, local self-government offices, or via the web portal slr.napr.gov.ge. Land surveyor teams from the NAPR will contact each citizen before the reform concludes and provide the necessary services.
