Nine teams from the central office and legal entities under public law participated in the sporting event. The team from the National Agency of Public Registry took first place, while the teams from the Special Penitentiary Service and the National Bureau of Enforcement secured second and third places, respectively.
The First Deputy Minister of Justice, Tamar Tkeshelashvili, congratulated the teams on their victory in the mini-football tournament. At the end of the event, the Chairman of the National Agency of Public Registry, Davit Devidze, and the Chairman of the Special Penitentiary Service, Nika Tskhvarashvili, awarded the winning teams in a ceremonial setting.
At the event, a “Friendship Cup” was also contested between teams from the Ministry’s Office and the National Bureau of Enforcement. The team from the National Bureau of Enforcement won the “Friendship Cup.” This was the first time the “Friendship Cup” was held at the mini-football tournament, and it will become a traditional feature in the future.
The internal mini-football tournament, supported by the Ministry of Justice, began on October 8. Similar activities serve to promote a healthy lifestyle among employees within the Ministry’s system.
