More than 1,250,000 plots of land have been surveyed as part of the systematic land registration reform
The National Agency of Public Registry under the Ministry of Justice discussed the successful progress of the reform during a working meeting held in Ninotsminda Municipality.
At the meeting, the Deputy Chairman of the Public Registry, Vakhtang Bokhashvili, along with agency representatives, discussed the progress of the systematic land registration reform and the planned activities with the relevant services of the Ninotsminda Municipality City Hall.
In Ninotsminda Municipality, the field surveying work is in its final phase, and the villages within the administrative units will be fully surveyed step by step.
Systematic land registration is being carried out throughout Georgia, covering 59 municipalities (excluding self-governing cities and occupied territories).
As part of the reform, surveying work has been completed in 42 municipalities across the country.
Since 2022, more than 1,250,000 plots of land have been surveyed, and ownership rights have been registered for more than 850,000 plots.
The project is completely free for all citizens—both the land surveying and registration processes are provided at no cost.
