The National Agency of Public Registry under the Ministry of Justice continues to cooperate and coordinate with government agencies involved in developing the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI).

The NAPR held another working meeting with representatives of the Ministry of Regional Development and Infrastructure of Georgia, the Spatial and Urban Development Agency (SUDA), and the National Agency for Sustainable Land Management and Land Use Monitoring.

Representatives of various structural units of the NAPR informed the meeting participants about the obligations established by the entry into force of the law, the functioning of the national geoportal - NSDI.GOV.GE - and the process of its development.
Particular attention was paid to the strategic and technical aspects of publishing spatial data, as well as the mechanisms for information exchange and cooperation between agencies.

The National Agency of Public Registry, as the coordinating agency for the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, ensures the accessibility of data and the introduction of uniform standards. In addition to its other functions related to the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, the NAPR provides intellectual, organizational, technical, and informational support to the entities involved in the process, and also monitors their activities.

The development of the NSDI in Georgia is being carried out with the financial and technical support of the World Bank.
