The working meeting, organized by the NAPR, was attended by representatives of various government agencies.
The event was opened by Ms. Eliso Gelashvili, Deputy Chairperson of the National Agency of Public Registry, who spoke to the participants about the importance of the meeting.
Within the framework of the program, Ms. Elene Grigolia, Manager of the World Bank's Georgia Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation and Land (GRAIL) Project Subcomponent "Improving Land Administration Services and Creating Digital Governance Infrastructure", presented the GRAIL Project and introduced the participants to related issues.
The NAPR’s representatives discussed the obligations defined by the Law of Georgia ‘On National Spatial Data Infrastructure’, the National Geoportal
NSDI.GOV.GE, and the metadata editor. They also discussed issues of inter-agency cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities for further deepening cooperation and future directions, which will contribute to strengthening effective inter-agency coordination, improving spatial data management processes, and increasing access to them.
With the aim of developing the National Spatial Data Infrastructure and strengthening inter-agency coordination, the National Agency of Public Registry plans to continue organizing various thematic events in the future, including public lectures, seminars, and working meetings.
