During the meeting with representatives of the Netherlands' Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster), the parties discussed the ongoing reforms in Georgia and the Netherlands, with particular emphasis on the importance of digital transformation in land administration and geospatial information management.

The participants noted that, based on the extensive experience and successful reforms implemented in both countries, Georgia and the Netherlands are well positioned to jointly provide expert support to other countries. They also highlighted the opportunity to actively contribute to the work of United Nations expert groups, including the development of international guidance documents and methodological recommendations, such as the Framework for Effective Land Administration (FELA).

The parties also discussed prospects for further strengthening bilateral cooperation, implementing joint projects, and expanding their participation in global initiatives.

It is noteworthy that, in 2025, the National Agency of Public Registry and the Netherlands' Cadastre, Land Registry and Mapping Agency (Kadaster) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, which provides a framework for the exchange of expert knowledge and experience, collaboration in research, development and innovation, and the implementation of joint initiatives. During the meeting, the parties positively assessed the interim results achieved under the Memorandum and reaffirmed their commitment to further deepening their cooperation.

The meeting was also attended by Elene Grigolia, Project Manager of the Enhancement of Land Administration Service Delivery and Building Digital Governance Infrastructure Component under the World Bank's Resilient Agriculture, Irrigation and Land Project (GRAIL) at the National Agency of Public Registry, and Tamta Chanturia, Head of Legal Support Service of the Legal Department of the National Agency of Public Registry.
