The National Agency of Public Registry under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia continues to enhance its digital services and now offers users an updated version of the national geoportal –
NSDI.GOV.GE.
The geoportal is a modern, multifunctional platform that significantly simplifies the discovery, processing, and sharing of spatial data. The functional, technical, and visual improvements implemented within the system increase the speed of access to data, improve management efficiency, and ensure compliance with international standards.
As part of the upgrade of the national geoportal and its associated web applications, new components have been added and more than ten key features have been significantly improved:
- A new, flexible user management system has been implemented;
- Additional information sections have been created;
- A statistics module has been integrated;
- A personalized, authorized user workspace has been developed;
- Advanced map generation and export functionalities have been added;
- Modern graphical drawing tools have been introduced;
- Various geospatial services have been integrated into the geoportal;
- The spatial data upload format has been updated;
- The metadata management system has been improved;
- Artificial intelligence tools have been integrated into the platform;
- A translation feature has been added to the website.
NSDI.GOV.GE is an important national digital platform that brings together data produced by both public institutions and the private sector, facilitating the efficient exchange and use of information.
