The National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, as one of the major producers of geospatial data, participated in the General Assembly of “EuroGeographics.”

At the annual event organized by the international association, which this year was held in Belgium, the Agency’s delegation reviewed the association’s 2025 activity report and the priority areas for the current year.

Within the framework of the panel session “Geospatial Data for a Strong, Secure, Prosperous and Competitive Europe,” the NAPR shared with partner institutions its experience in the production and use of geospatial data, as well as its strategic vision in this field.

The Agency’s representative spoke in detail about the first multifunctional geoportal, NSDI.GOV.GE which supports the unified systematization of spatial data from both the public and private sectors.

During the event, members of the delegation received information about the best practices of European countries, EU geospatial initiatives, and international standards aimed at improving data quality and accessibility.

The National Agency of Public Registry has been a member of the “EuroGeographics” association since 2010. The association brings together more than 60 cartography, cadastre, and land registration agencies from 46 European countries.
