Deputy Minister of Justice, Tamar Zodelava, met with representatives of the World Bank during her working visit to the United States, where the parties discussed the areas of partnership between the Ministry of Justice and the World Bank, the progress of ongoing projects, and prospects for future cooperation.
The Deputy Minister, together with a representative of the National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR), discussed the progress and plans of the GRAIL project. The meeting focused on the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI), the improvement of land administration services, and the further strengthening of digital governance systems.
The parties discussed the strategic importance of the projects, the progress achieved, and future steps.
The meeting also discussed the opportunities for sharing Georgia’s experience at the international level, particularly in the areas of land reform and the development of spatial data systems. Discussions focused on the potential for implementing the Georgian models in other countries and opportunities for deepening technical cooperation.
