From March 9 through March 20, the Ministry of Justice gives entrepreneurs the opportunity to benefit from a special offer and bring their registration data into compliance with the law at half price.
“Entrepreneurial entities will be able to pay 100 GEL instead of 200 GEL. To do so, they must use the standard charter approved by an order of the Minister of Justice. They can apply at Public Service Halls across the country or complete the registration remotely via the website my.gov.ge and bring their registration data into compliance with the new Law of Georgia ‘On Entrepreneurs’,” stated Deputy Minister of Justice Tamar Zodelava.
The deadline for business entities to bring their registration data into compliance with the Law of Georgia “On Entrepreneurs” expires on April 1 of the current year.
If an entrepreneur fails to bring their registration data into compliance by April 1, 2026, the registration of the business entity will be suspended, and an extract will no longer be issued by the National Agency of Public Registry.
More than 350,000 entities have already brought their registration data into compliance with the law. The requirement applies to the following enterprises registered before January 1, 2022:
Limited Liability Companies (LLC);
Joint Stock Companies (JSC);
General Partnerships;
Limited Partnerships;
Cooperatives and branches of foreign enterprises.
The requirement does not apply to individual entrepreneurs or non-entrepreneurial (non-commercial) legal entities.
For registration, business entities have the option to apply to:
Any Public Service Hall across the country;
Any territorial office of the National Agency of Public Registry;
Authorized persons: https://napr.gov.ge/ka/page/authorized-customers/authorized-persons-register;
Or complete registration remotely via the website My.gov.ge.
The Law of Georgia “On Entrepreneurs” simplifies business procedures, protects the rights of business entities, and promotes the systematization of a unified database of entrepreneurs.
