The National Agency of Public Registry under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, as the coordinator of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure (NSDI) reform, is actively cooperating with representatives of various agencies.

Within the framework of coordination, a working meeting was held with representatives of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and Agriculture of Georgia, where the reform report and issues related to the NSDI.GOV.GE geoportal were discussed.
The geoportal is a unified information system that combines spatial data produced by government agencies and the private sector, simplifying infrastructure project planning, investment identification, and rapid response to crisis situations for citizens.

The parties discussed the obligations of public institutions involved in the reform, including both identification and inventory of spatial data, as well as the creation and updating of metadata, to ensure data accessibility and sharing conditions.

At the end of the meeting, a discussion was held, where representatives of the Ministry received clarifications and recommendations regarding the practical stages of publishing data on the geoportal.

Representatives of the NAPR, together with the counterpart agency, thoroughly reviewed the functioning of applications related to the national geoportal, the data publication process, quality control mechanisms, and other related matters.
