The meeting discussed the long-standing partnership between the LEPL National Agency of Public Registry (NAPR) of the Ministry of Justice and the World Bank, ongoing projects, and prospects for future cooperation.
The conversation touched on reforms in the fields of digital governance and land registration. The World Bank’s Regional Director positively assessed the reforms implemented in Georgia and the experience accumulated by the NAPR, noting that this provides an important basis for sharing existing knowledge with other countries.
It was emphasized that the efficiency and reliability of innovative electronic services oriented towards the interests of the population, such as the NSDI Geoportal, the “Smart Contract,” and the systematic land registration are clear examples of the effective use of the country’s loan commitments by the government and the tangible results of the investment made.
The meeting was attended by First Deputy Minister of Justice Lasha Maghradze, Chairman of the NAPR Davit Devizde, and Elene Grigolia, Manager of the joint project between the NAPR and the World Bank.
