The innovative platform represents a significant reform aimed at introducing modern standards for the management and sharing of spatial data in the country. The NSDI Geoportal is a unified information system that consolidates spatial data produced by both public authorities and the private sector.

The portal will feature maps, orthophotos, land parcel boundaries, cultural heritage sites, roads, bridges, hospitals, and educational institutions. Private companies will provide information on the location of their infrastructure, coverage areas, and accessibility of services.

The Geoportal aims to simplify infrastructure project planning, attract investments, and enable rapid response to crisis situations for users.

The data formats of the NSDI Geoportal fully comply with the relevant EU regulations and standards, ensuring easy integration and use within the EU’s spatial data infrastructure.

The platform is coordinated by the National Agency of Public Registry under the Ministry of Justice of Georgia.

The presentation was attended by Deputy Ministers of Justice, the Minister for IDPs, Labor, Health, and Social Affairs, Mikheil Sarjveladze, and other guests.
