Davit Devidze, Chairman of the NAPR under the Ministry of Justice, held a public lecture at the Caucasus International University, within the framework of which he introduced the students to the ongoing and completed reforms in the agency.
Students received comprehensive information about the reform of the agency – systematic land registration. They learned in detail about the successful statistical indicators of the reform, according to which the NAPR has already surveyed more than 1500000 land plots and registered ownership rights to more than 1000000 land plots. As a result, more than 1000000 citizens (30% of the country’s population) became registered owners.
In addition to the systematic land registration reform, the Chairman of the NAPR gave presentation to the students on such important projects as: “Addressed Georgia”, “Law on Entrepreneurs of Georgia” and others.
The conversation touched on the agency's innovative digital project "Smart Contract", which will allow the parties to implement the purchase and sale agreement in a digital format and securely register the property electronically without going to the NAPR.
The public lecture was held in the "Justice Auditorium" in the practical space of the Caucasus International University. The lecture continued in question-answer mode. Students were interested both in the success of current reforms and in the topic of employment in the agency.
At the end of the meeting, the Chairman of the NAPR spoke about future cooperation with the Caucasus International University and wished the students success in their work.
